Mechanical Breakdown Coverage

 As an authorized Mercury Agent, we are proud to offer one of the best mechanical breakdown insurance policies in the industry.

You can put your mind at ease with this Mechanical Breakdown protection knowing that repairs to your vehicle can be done at any licensed U.S. or Canadian repair facility.  There is no limit to the number of claims, and only one deductible per visit applies.

Mercury uses its own adjustors to handle all claims, so you do not have to worry about dealing with a third party administrator.  All payments are made directly to the repair facilities.

Four levels of protection are available: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Coverage benefits include:

24-hour Roadside Assistance – Throw that AAA membership out! There is another $65 in savings.  No more worries about Towing or Lost Key / Lock-Out services.

Rental Vehicle Assistance – In the event of a covered Mechanical Breakdown you will be covered for alternate transportation expensed as provided by your contract.

Damaged Tire Protection – if damaged by glass, nails or other road hazards.

Trip Interruption – You can be reimbursed for meals and lodging up to three days if you are stranded because of a covered breakdown more than 100 miles from home.

Does your manufacturer’s warranty cover all that?

We recently wrote a Platinum plan for a client with a 2008 Ford Focus.  Ford’s cost to extend their warranty was about $1,600.  The total cost for our client for the 100,000 mile protection was only $635!  No matter how much money you make, we feel you cannot afford to spend an additional $1,000 for the manufacturer’s warranty that is not as extensive as Mercury’s in many ways.
